Persenk Ultra Half is an excellent and easy way to get familiar with mountain running for those who are now discovering the sport.
We have tried to select a route that is close to the maximum length of the standard half-marathon – 21 100 m – but unfortunately this is not always possible. Similarities with the familiar road races however end here! The route of Persenk Ultra Half has a total elevation gain of 1 350 meters, almost exclusively on mountain paths and trails and allows participants who still do not feel confident enough in their strength and abilities to experience the magic of the Persenk Ultra experience and the beauty of the Rhodopes.
The start is at 10:00 on 09/14/2013. The route should be taken within 5 hours. Participants will have four refreshment and checkpoints where will be available water, isotonic drinks and fruits.
Registration for Persenk Half Marathon is done at this page. It will begin on April 15 and will continue until August 31, 2013, or until the quota is reached.
